University, Social Stimulants, and Me

It’s weird. I’m going to end up with an even bigger University experience than most people have, or will have. I deferred after my second year of a shitty Business Studies and Finance degree, and now I’m going to be doing another three of Broadcast Journalism. Under the new rates. Lovely. I’m fortunate, besides one rather stupid thirty-something who still thinks she’s 19, I have a really nice group of people around me, and I can call a lot of people there friends.

Said stupid thirty-something was in a pub with me and the rest of the group on Monday after a cancelled lecture, and she asked me: “Dre, what do you drink?”, and I said, “Nothing that involves Alcohol”. (I haven’t had alcohol in about 5 years now, I hate the taste, and the amount of peer pressure I got from my high school was rather pathetic). She then asks me “Do you do any Substances instead?”

“YES, I SWAPPED WHISKEY AND VODKA FOR CRYSTAL METH. I’M HANK FROM BREAKING BAD!”

Harrison101 – An Introduction, and Why This Is Here

Man, this WordPress stuff is weird. Last time I did this, I was lucky enough to have a friend do all the leg-work for me. Mad.

Anywho, for those who don’t know me, allow me to introduce myself. I’m Andre Harrison, also known as Harrison101, and coming to you in full, High Definition, depending on where you see me. I’m 20, living in Southall, London, and day-to-day, I’m a video maker, partnered with the Machinima Network, specialising in Motorsport and Automotive videos, taking a particularly strong interesting in games like Formula 1 2012, Forza Motorsport, and other Racing games. On top of that, I’m a Broadcast Journalism student, currently studying at the University of West London, in Ealing. It’s something I’ve always wanted to get into, and it goes hand-in-hand with my hobby. Also have a part-time job on the side, as a Storeroom Assistant in my local Matalan, but less said about that the better…
